Satisfy your sweet tooth + increase your overall protein intake with this creamy banana pudding protein shake inspired by my favorite dessert (with Chessmen cookies). Makes one large serving (about 14 ounces) or two smaller servings. One large serving provides 25 grams of protein and is a good source of iron, calcium, vitamin D and potassium.

Ingredients
1cupunsweetened or vanilla almond milk, or preferred milk
Add all ingredients to a blender or Nutri-Bullet and blend until smooth and creamy!
Top with whipped cream and crushed Chessmen cookie crumbs. As the whipped cream melts, stir it into the shake for extra creaminess and decadence! This protein shake tastes best immediately after blending.
Notes
If you prefer less banana flavor, use 1/2-3/4 a banana and add 3-5 ice cubes.
This protein shake tastes best when it's really cold: use milk that has been refrigerated for best results. Or, add an ice cube or two.
Incorporate 1/4 cup of cool whip for the ultimate dessert shake.
This recipe is not gluten and dairy-free. Substitute the Chessmen cookies with a gluten-free and dairy-free shortbread cookie. Also use a dairy-free whipped cream.
Add some chia seeds for a high protein and fiber breakfast.
