These cocktails are inspired by Taylor Swift songs. Why did I make this post? I don’t even really know- this was a request from my Swiftie friends and I thought I would give it a try.

Now, I am not a professional mixologist. These are just easy, fun ideas that can be customized or just used as inspiration! They are very tasty, too!

About These Cocktails

Why do you need a Taylor Swift cocktail? Well, it might be a fun idea to throw a party and everyone brings their own Taylor Swift-inspired cocktail. Or, Halloween is coming up soon. Maybe you want to drink a Taylor Swift cocktail to go with your costume.

I’ve created 5 cocktail recipes for the songs Snow on the Beach, Maroon/Bad Blood, Enchanted, Haunted and Champagne Problems. At the end of the post, I added more ideas for Taylor Swift cocktails or drinks. If you’re living the alcohol-free lifestyle, you might find some inspiration here as well.

I highly recommend getting some edible glitter or bejeweled toothpicks to take your Taylor Swift cocktails to the next level (easily found on Amazon).

Cocktails Inspired by Taylor Swift Songs

These cocktails are made for one to give you inspiration but of course you could adjust the servings based on how many you’re serving. These are all very easy cocktails and I have included some other options that would work for these songs as well.

Bad Blood

This is a deliciously refreshing red wine spritzer. To get the point of the song across, I just filled a syringe with some of the cocktail to resemble blood.

Pour ingredients into a large wine glass (about 12 ounces) with crushed ice. Garnish with the syringe and a lemon wedge.

  • 8 Ounces of Red Wine
  • 4 Ounces of Club Soda
  • Juice of 1/2 a Lemon

Omit the syringe and this drink could also be “Maroon”. You could also just make simple cranberry vodka soda with lime. However, I did try this and the color just wasn’t deep enough for either Bad Blood or Maroon. Another idea? Just get edible red glitter and sprinkle on top of the cocktail.

If you’re not in the mood for a spritzer, just pour some red wine in a glass. Anyways, this can be easily customized – you get the idea.

Enchanted

This one might be my favorite! The Empress Gin is what gives this cocktail the purple color. I also used edible pink glitter for garnish – so it not only has a pretty color but some “sparkle” as well. This is like a Moscow mule with gin!

Muddle the mint leaves at the bottom of a glass. Add the remaining ingredients along with some crushed ice. Sprinkle on edible glitter. Garnish with a lime wedge and more mint (optional). Enjoy!

  • 2 ounces of Empress 1908 Gin
  • 3 Ounces of Ginger Beer
  • 1-2 Ounces of Lime Juice
  • Mint Leaves

You could also choose one of these 10 stunning cocktails using Empress Gin, or just a simple gin and tonic! Easy, yet beautiful and totally gives off that Enchanted vibe.

If you aren’t typically a gin lover, I highly recommend you give this recipe a try – it’s so good! Gin is one of my liquors in cocktails.

Snow on the Beach

A close-up birds-eye view of two snow on the beach cocktails with shredded coconut on top.

This drink gives off all the beachy feels and tropical flavors. The shredded coconut rim is supposed to resemble the “snow” on the beach. I also added shredded coconut on top of the cocktail to resemble the snow as well. Put it in a fun, tropical glass and double this recipe for a more beachy vibe.

Dip the rim of your glass in water and then a bowl of shredded coconut. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker and pour into a glass with crushed ice. Top with shredded coconut flakes for some fun texture.

  • 1 ounce Coconut Rum
  • 2 Ounces Blue Chair Pineapple Rum Cream
  • 3 ounces Pineapple Juice
  • Lime Juice
  • Shredded Coconut for the Rim

You could use a salt rim instead of coconut flakes. The texture might turn some people off, but I thought the shredded coconut was delicious! Other ideas: pina colada, sparkling basil lemonade, spiked coconut limeade or a blue color cocktail to resemble water.

Champagne Problems

Of course, you could just put some champagne in a glass and call it “Champagne Problems”. This recipe takes it one step further and is like a champagne Aperol spritz. So pretty and you’re sure to forget all about those problems.

Add all ingredients to a large wine glass with crushed ice and/or frozen berries.

  • 4 Ounces Pink Champagne
  • 3 Ounces Aperol
  • 1 Ounce Club Soda
  • Crushed Ice and/or Frozen Berries

Haunted

Two chocolate espresso martinis on a counter, garnished with skull toothpicks.

I tried to go with a chocolate and raspberry espresso martini. I stuck three skull toothpicks that I got from Amazon into a 3 Musketeers chocolate bar and sunk it in the bottom. This cocktail gives the “dark and moody” vibes of Haunted – and would be a fun option for Halloween!

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker and combine. Pour into a martini glass, garnish with skulls or whatever you can find that would make sense. A fun option for Halloween!

  • 2 Ounces of Espresso
  • 1 Ounce of Raspberry Liquor
  • 2 Ounces of Chocolate Liquor
  • 3 ounces of Vodka

This one could also be Midnight Rain inspired – or you could do a blackberry cocktail for either of those songs. For example, this Black Widow Smash (Half-Baked Harvest). A dark chocolate liquor would make this drink more black than brown – which might be worth a try!

Other Ideas

I Forgot That You Existed

One of my friends thought a Long Island Iced Tea would be perfect for this song.

Hits Different

You know what “hits different” than a cocktail? A shot.

Bejeweled

Order some jewels from Amazon and bejewel your glass, then pour your favorite drink in it. There are also bejeweled toothpicks for garnish.

Lavendar Haze

Try another recipe using Empress 1908 gin: their Empress Lavendar Haze. You can also find a bunch of lavendar haze inspired cocktails with a quick google seach.

Cruel Summer

I feel like Cruel Summer could be a fun margarita or any light, refreshing drink.

Have Fun!

This post ended up being a little more than I was anticipating – but I hope it inspires you to have a Taylor Swift cocktail night! You could even do an “Eras Tour” night and each person comes up with a drink that represents each era.

Let me know if you try any of these or have more good ideas for Taylor Swift inspired drinks.
