This is a cold dip, almost like a tangy and sweet cheesecake s’mores dip. Substituting cream cheese or sour cream for cottage cheese is one of my favorite party tricks. I sort of threw this recipe together for a “Dipsgiving” and it was a huge hit! I was most surprised at how much the kids all loved it.

I would describe this dip as a combination of cheesecake and s’mores. Scroll for more ideas on how to serve this delicious concoction! You can always taste test by dipping a graham cracker into the dip and adjusting with more marshmallow, maple syrup or cool whip.

  1. Add the cottage cheese to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Combine whipped cottage cheese, cool whip, marshmallow fluff, maple syrup, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt (optional) to a large mixing bowl.
  3. Using a hand mixer, beat on low or medium until all the ingredients are well-combined with minimal or no lumps.
  4. Pour the mixture into a large bowl or 9.5 inch circular glass dish.
  5. Add mini chocolate chips (I used about 1 cup) and combine.
  6. Top the dip with crushed graham crackers and mini marshmallows when ready to serve (max 3 hours before serving to prevent sogginess). Serve with sheets of graham crackers and strawberries. Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 4 days!

To prep ahead: Complete steps 1-4 and store in the fridge for up to 3 days. Mix in the chocolate chips and add the toppings and it’s ready to serve!
