Cozy High Protein and High Fiber Recipes for Fall & Winter

A collection of cozy breakfast, lunch, and dinner recipes with a good balance of both protein and fiber to help keep you full and satisfied. Think hearty casseroles, comforting soups, easy meal-prep breakfasts, and plenty of fall and winter flavors – all the cozy vibes with a little more staying power.

As a dietitian and busy mom, I’m all about making healthy meals in a way that still feels realistic — especially on busy nights. That’s usually my focus with these roundups: balanced meals with all three macronutrients, plenty of nutrition, and nothing overly complicated.

For this one, I wanted all of that plus the kind of cozy meals you actually want when the weather gets colder.

Why You’ll Love These Recipes

  • They combine protein + fiber. This combination can help keep meals more filling and satisfying.
  • They’re actually cozy. Think casseroles, chili, roasted vegetables, warm spices, hearty bowls, and comforting breakfasts.
  • There’s plenty of variety. You’ll find breakfast, lunch, dinner, meal-prep options, and even a snack mixed in.
  • They use everyday ingredients. No need for complicated or hard-to-find foods to build a balanced meal.
  • They’re perfect for fall and winter. These are the kinds of recipes that make cold-weather meals feel a little more comforting while still keeping nutrition in mind.

Breakfast

I try to include the estimated protein and fiber content for each recipe, but keep in mind these numbers can vary depending on the specific ingredients, brands, and serving sizes used.

Salted Caramel Apple Overnight Oats

I am a sucker for anything salted caramel. Then, you add in the tart apples and it’s a serious dessert-like breakfast. The sprinkle of sea salt really brings that sweet and salty flavor combination together. They’re so good!

These oats are easy to prep and high in protein without any protein powder thanks to the Fairlife milk and Greek yogurt.

Apple Crisp Breakfast Jars
